OUR MESSAGE FOR TODAY SUNDAY SERVICE ON 6/15/2014 IS: SUBJECT: THE EVIDENCE OF GODS DIVINE INTERVENTION TOPIC: THE CONSEQUENCES FOR THE WICKED AND THE BENEFITS FOR THE JUST READING SCRIPTURES: GENESIS 6:1-22 (NIV) THE CONSEQUENCES FOR THE WICKED AND THE BENEFITS FOR THE JUST: 1. The act of wickedness of men did not start today or in this generation, it has been so from the beginning because of the sins of this world and the act of disobedience of the first Man and Woman, but the consequences of every action good or evil depends on the intervention that goes with it, the numbers of days of Man was reduced to 120 years because of the sins of men. See verses 1-4 2. You have to know that the sufferings, pains, famine afflictions of sickness, diseases, and infirmities to sons and daughters of Man on earth is as a result of the wickedness in the heart of humans on earth, and God regretted that he had made humans because their thoughts are full of evil which calls for divine intervention. See verses 5-6. 3. The consequences of evil today on man’s inhumanity to man, injustices, act of betrayal, intimidations, oppressions, murder, and other social norms of our society will never go unpunished, because God did not let them go unpunished in the beginning. Unquote “So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them” But Noah found favor in the sight of God. Are you one of the evil doers? Correct your ways today and live a righteous life. See verses 7-8. 4. The consequences for evil are divine intervention for death and the benefits for good deeds and good works is divine intervention for safety, divine protection and life and life abundantly. Noah walked in righteousness, obedient to God, respect to humanity and served God in truth and spirit, and God intervened in his life and separated him and his family from the wicked generation of his time and granted him and all that belong to him divine protection and eternal life when he destroyed the evil generation with flood. If you are still counted as one of those like that evil generations of Noah, the time is tickling, repents and inherits eternal life. See verses 9-10. 5. Do you know that Noah excelled in his generations? If not see his resume “This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. Can your family or friends define you as Noah is defined here? Or do they see you as corrupt like the wicked in the days of Noah? If I may ask, how would you want to be defined after you must have fulfilled your days on earth, as a good person or an evil person? The choice is yours today take a decision now for divine intervention for your life so as to inherit eternal life. See verses 11-13. 6. When you find favour in the sight of God, you will never be in the dark of every decision of the sovereign God, because you are in him and he is in you, He cannot do anything without informing you in advance. Take note here unquote “So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out. This is how you are to build it: The ark is to be three hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide and thirty cubits high. Make a roof for it, leaving below the roof an opening one cubit high all around. Put a door in the side of the ark and make lower, middle and upper decks. I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark, you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.” And Noah obeyed God. Who do you obey? My prayer for you today is to receive the Anointing, to walk with God and be called the sons/daughters of God, and also to be part of the Kingdom of God in heaven. Amen Wickedness in the World 6 When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with[a] humans forever, for they are mortal[b]; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. 5 The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD. Noah and the Flood 9 This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. 11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them.
