BUT HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM; AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED:

LWFM EXHORTATION FOR THE MONTH OF FULFILLMENT OF GODS PROMISES FOR TUESDAY 6/24/2014 IS: ISAIAH 53:3-6. Friends, our exhortation for today is focused on “BUT HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM; AND WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED”. I do not know if you know any creature from the days of Adam till date that is dead or alive that is described with such words of service, power, commitments, dedications, burden carrier, and love for humanity but Jesus our Lord and savior. When I look back at what he did for us, and continue to love us till now, it gives me the zeal to know him more, worship him more to the best of my ability and give everyone around me the opportunity to know him. No one but Jesus the second person in trinity can do what he did for us. He gave us life, gave definition to our existence, opened great doors for the fulfillment of Gods promises for us, and reconciled us to God the father through that blood that he shed on the cross of Calvary for you and me. Do you want all the sacrifices he made for us to be in vain? Are you one of those who still nail him on the cross of Calvary today? What are you doing to show appreciation for what he did for us? Think about the questions above and take a decision now to be on the side of Jesus, to inherit the promises of God. Remember he is coming again to reign with those who are his for one thousand years on earth and after that in heaven. Will you be counted among the number? If your answer is “NO” you have the chance today to be added in that number, only if you can invite him into your life. I want you to know that he is standing at your doors knocking and if you open he will come in and dine with you. One of these days the heavens and the earth will pass away. But God's Word will never pass away. The Bible, which so accurately portrayed the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, also points clearly to His Second Coming. Take note of that. Jesus desire is for all to be saved. I pray that you will be counted in the number that will reign with him Amen. Read below: Isaiah 53:3-6 King James Version (KJV). 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. 4 Surely he hath borne our grief’s, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
