Nothing transforms like information and; nothing revolutionizes like revelation Knowledge. Information with knowledge is power and information through the word of God is life. Nothing revolutionizes like revelation knowledge, the revelation knowledge of the power of God. But you shall know the truth and the truth you know shall make you free.

OUR MESSAGE FOR TODAY’S SUNDAY SERVICE ON 03/08/2015 IS: THE WAY OF THE CROSS KNOWLEDGE THAT ANSWERS ALL THINGS:
OUR MESSAGE FOR TODAY’S SUNDAY SERVICE ON 03/08/2015 IS:
SUBJECT: KNOWLEDGE OF GOD THAT BRINGS PLEASANTRIES
TOPIC: THE WAY OF THE CROSS KNOWLEDGE THAT ANSWERS ALL THINGS
DATE: SUNDAY MESSAGE FOR MARCH 8, 2015
READING SCRIPTURES: MARK 8:1-38
THE WAY OF THE CROSS KNOWLEDGE THAT ANSWERS ALL THINGS:
1. Be informed this day that it takes the way of the Cross of Jesus for us to do the same thing Jesus did to feed the four thousand in the wilderness even when it looks impossible in the sites of his Apostles. The compassion and love of Jesus for his followers is still the same today, only if you walk in Godly knowledge and the way of the cross, you can do what Jesus did then and walk in compassion to meet the needs of others. See verses 1-5
2. Sometimes in our lives as believers, we just have to speak to our eyes to stop deceiving us, because the devil uses our eyes to hold us in captives not to fulfil our purpose in life. Jesus did not look at the wilderness where there was no market or stores to buy groceries to feed the people or listened to his Apostles that lived by sight of the few seven loaves of bread and the five thousand crowds that were hungry but rather he walked in knowledge of his father in heaven to do what is to the best interest of the crowd as follows:-
a) He told the crowd to sit down on the ground
b) He took the seven loaves and give thanks to God (Value of thanks)
c) He broke them and asked his disciples to give to the crowds (Faith)
d) He took the small fish gave thanks and asked them to distribute
e) The people ate and were satisfied and seven baskets were left. He proved to them that with Gods knowledge nothing is impossible only if you apply it in times of need. See verses 6-10
3. Take note here that after Jesus fed the four thousand, he entered into the boat and crossed over to the other side; on getting there the Pharisees started tempting him for a sign from heaven but he sighed at them but said something important to them, and those in our world today who are like minded to the Pharisees in our generation now who are conscious of signs and wonders but are not ready to walk in the knowledge of God, He said to them there will be no signs for this generation and crossed over to the other side. Are you one of such generation? Change today and walk in Godly knowledge and faith that will move mountains in your life. See verses 11-13
4. Jesus warned his disciples of the yeast of the Pharisees and Herod, but they could not understand what he said to them, just because they have on loaf of bread left and such were carried away with what to eat and drink like so many of you today but forget everything about the power and knowledge of God to do all things. So Jesus had to refer them to how many that was fed before they crossed over to the other side and the baskets that were left over. So are some folks in the Church today and unbelievers in the world who think about what they will get and eat but not what to give. Are you one of them? Repent today and begin to walk in the knowledge of God. See verses 14-21
5. Jesus walked in the knowledge of God in everything he did, when he got to Bethsaida he healed the blind Man from his blindness just by spitting on the ground and touching the Man’s eyes with it and the eyes could not see clearly and he laid hands on him and the eyes opened immediately, and he that was blind could now see clearly because his eyes was restored, but Jesus said to the Man go home and do not enter into the village. Today most people are afflicted:
a) Because they refused to seek and take Godly counsel
b) They refused to obey simple instructions from their ministers
c) They assume that they know everything and need no help
d) As such live with their infirmities and diseases. Hear the word now and be healed to walk in Godly knowledge. See verses 22-26.
6. I have learnt from my little experience and walk with God that sometimes people around you in family, ministry and friends do not know who you are because of the anointing power of God or the knowledge of God that enables you to reverse the irreversible and turn the impossible to possible, the same thing happened to Jesus and his twelve Apostles to an extent he asked them “who do you think am I” or “who do men say am I” they eleven of his trusted followers failed this question except Peter who was filled with the Holy Spirit and walked in the Knowledge of God, said “He is Christ the son of the Living God”. Jesus quickly charged him not to tell that to the public, but pointed out that flesh and blood did not reveal that to him. Do you know who you are? Do people around you know who you are? Seek the knowledge of God on this. See verses 27-30.
7. The life of Jesus on this planet earth is an example for all of us on this earth to learn from he even predicted his death, a thing no mortal can do, which proves that he is Lord. When he mentioned his death to his disciples Peter rebuked him, not with bad intention but because Jesus represented a future for him and he will not allow it to happen, but Jesus rebuked Peter and said get thee behind me Satan, only the will of my father in heaven will prevail for it is the best for all humans but not for human concerns as Peter. His death was the best for you and I till date because he reconciled us to God. See verses 31-33.
8. I Challenge you all out there my family, friends, members, followers to hear this words of knowledge of God from Jesus on the way of the cross: Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow him. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for him and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? If anyone is ashamed of him and his words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” See verses 34-38.
9. My prayer for you today is to receive the Anointing power to walk in Godly knowledge and the instructions of the way of the cross in Jesus name Amen.
Read Mark 8:1-38 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Feeds the Four Thousand
8 During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to him and said, 2 “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. 3 If I send them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance.” 4 His disciples answered, “But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?” 5 “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied. 6 He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people, and they did so. 7 They had a few small fish as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them. 8 The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 9 About four thousand were present. After he had sent them away, 10 he got into the boat with his disciples and went to the region of Dalmanutha.
11 The Pharisees came and began to question Jesus. To test him, they asked him for a sign from heaven. 12 He sighed deeply and said, “Why does this generation ask for a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to it.”13 Then he left them, got back into the boat and crossed to the other side.
The Yeast of the Pharisees and Herod 14 The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat. 15 “Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.” 16 They discussed this with one another and said, “It is because we have no bread.”
17 Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them: “Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don’t you remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?”
“Twelve,” they replied. 20 “And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?” They answered, “Seven.” 21 He said to them, “Do you still not understand?”
Jesus Heals a Blind Man at Bethsaida
22 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. 23 He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?”
24 He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” 25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 Jesus sent him home, saying, “Don’t even go into[a] the village.”
Peter Declares That Jesus Is the Messiah
27 Jesus and his disciples went on to the villages around Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked them, “Who do people say I am?”
28 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, one of the prophets.”
29 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.”
30 Jesus warned them not to tell anyone about him.
Jesus Predicts His Death
31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again. 32 He spoke plainly about this, and Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.
33 But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said. “You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.”
The Way of the Cross
34 Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 35 For whoever wants to save their life[b] will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. 36 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? 37 Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? 38 If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
