LWFM EXHORTATION FOR THE MONTH OF THE HELP OF GOD SUBJECT: THE HELP OF GOD FOR US ALL TOPIC: CONSEQUENCES OF THE ABSENCE OF GODS HELP AND ITS PENALTY DATE: TUESDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2014 READING SCRIPTURES: ROMANS 1:1-32 (NIV) THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE ABSENCE OF GODS HELP AND ITS PENALTY: 1. It is very important for you to know that you have an inheritance in God through Jesus Christ irrespective of the nature of your birth Jews or Gentiles, which opens doors for the help of God for you. Only you can shut that door through your actions. All you need is the spirit of holiness and obedience that comes from faith in his name sake. May his grace and peace guide you for his help? Amen. See verses 1-7 2. Please observe some of the consequences that hinder the help of God in times of needs and avoid them as follows: A. Lack of appreciation and thanksgiving to God through his son Jesus B. Walking in Faithlessness (The just shall live by faith) C. Ashamed of Jesus Christ by not reaching out to others to be saved D. Timidity when it comes to prayer and living a prayer less life E. Not making use of your spiritual gifts to be a blessing to others F. Lack of encouraging each others with faith in God G. Not being a channel of harvest and blessings to others H. Walking in discrimination like colour, race, gender and social class I. Walking in Pride and riotous living J. Not revealing the righteousness of God through his word to others. See verses 13-21. 3. Permit me to ask you out there about the opposite of the help of God, some of you may say the curse of God and some will say the wrath of God, which ever one you said, you are right, but I want to give you a deeper insight on the wrath of God that the enemy Satan manipulates to hinder the help of God in the life of his captives: A. Godlessness and Wickedness When you see this, beware B. Those who suppress the truth through the act of wickedness C. Confusing people on Gods creation and his invisible power D. Confusing humans on Gods eternal power and divine nature E. Making folks to know God in words but do not glorify or thank him F. Folks thinking on God to be futile and their hearts darkened G. Makes people who are wise fools by serving images as their gods H. They exchange the glory of God to images made like humans I. They are humans but behave like animals even in their sexuality J. They exchange the truth about God for a lie and live false life K. Men and Women commit shameful act with one another in error M. They retain not the knowledge of God and Satan took them over N. They are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, depravity O. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. P. They gossip, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful Q. They invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents R. They have no understanding, no fidelity, no love; and no mercy. See verses 22-31. 4. Finally it might interest you to know that although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. This is the end times, the enemy Satan is walking to and fro looking for whom to devour, do not make yourself available to the enemy Satan as a toy to use to fulfill his agenda to kill, steal and destroy, wait on the help of God for all your needs for the God we serve is well able to do all things. See verse 32. 5. My prayer for you today is to receive the Anointing power to reject and renounce anything that will bring the consequences of God upon your life or family and embrace the help of God and its blessings in Jesus name Amen.
