OUR MESSAGE FOR TODAY SUNDAY SERVICE ON 8/3/2014 IS: LIVING A LIFE OF DIVINE BREAKTHROUGHS TILL ETERNITY:

SUBJECT: THE POWER OF DIVINE BREAKTHROUGHS TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF DIVINE BREAKTHROUGHS DATE: SUNDAY AUGUST 3, 2014 READING SCRIPTURES: 1 Chronicles 14:1-17 (NIV) LIVING A LIFE OF DIVINE BREAKTHROUGHS TILL ETERNITY: 1. When God establishes you, the first thing that will take place in your life is breakthrough in all areas that you have broken down in life. The Life of King David is a typical example, from rearing animals in the bush to the palace as a King. Your breakthrough defines you and opens doors for your celebrations, and also brings into your life favors that you did not ask for divinely. See verses 1-7 2. You must be careful not to attribute your breakthroughs to yourself because it is divine, and it only comes from God. When the light shines on your path, you will become a warrior that no nation, man or woman can defeat in battles. Nations will be afraid of you, your peers and your associate will also be afraid of you because of the wonders in your life from the mighty God you serve. See verses 8-10. 3. It is very important to know that everyone who walks in divine breakthroughs cannot do anything on their own without consulting God first, because they do not own themselves anymore but belong to the Almighty God who directs, guides, and leads them in all decisions of life. When you walk out of that covenant, you are indirectly saying I can lead myself, and that is where most folks breakdown instead of breakthrough. See verse 11-14. 4. To enjoy the power and presence of divine breakthroughs in what ever you do and where ever you are, you must not serve other gods because serving other gods is the lead way to breakdown. You must continuously seek Gods counsel, direction and power in all matters including in battles in other not to embark on a fruitless journey or battles. David never failed to inquire from God before doing anything even if it means twenty times in a day that is why he had so much victories and breakthroughs from his many enemies. See verses 15-16. 5. Finally I want you to know that breakthroughs attracts much enemies, when you have good things at all times that your peers try to get but they cannot because they serve other gods or do not know how to worship the true and Living God, they will only resort to envy and jealousy, and what effects will it have on you? Attacks, accusations and counter accusations but fear not, he that began a good work in your life will bring it to a fulfilled end. Remember he said you need not to fight in this battle because the battle is his. See verse 17 7. My prayer for you today is to receive the Anointing power to walk in divine Breakthroughs to fulfill your visions and overcome the wickedness of the wicked of Man, Satan and its Spirits including the distractions of the world, so as to serve the Living God in truth and spirit in Jesus name Amen. Chronicles 14:1-17 New International Version (NIV: David’s House and Family 14 Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, along with cedar logs, stonemasons and carpenters to build a palace for him. 2 And David knew that the LORD had established him as king over Israel and that his kingdom had been highly exalted for the sake of his people Israel. 3 In Jerusalem David took more wives and became the father of more sons and daughters. 4 These are the names of the children born to him there: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, Solomon, 5 Ibhar, Elishua, Elpelet, 6 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 7 Elishama, Beeliada[a] and Eliphelet. David Defeats the Philistines 8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, they went up in full force to search for him, but David heard about it and went out to meet them. 9 Now the Philistines had come and raided the Valley of Rephaim; 10 so David inquired of God: “Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hands?” The LORD answered him, “Go, I will deliver them into your hands.” 11 So David and his men went up to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, “As waters break out, God has broken out against my enemies by my hand.” So that place was called Baal Perazim.[b] 12 The Philistines had abandoned their gods there, and David gave orders to burn them in the fire. 13 Once more the Philistines raided the valley; 14 so David inquired of God again, and God answered him, “Do not go directly after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the poplar trees. 15 As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.” 16 So David did as God commanded him, and they struck down the Philistine army, all the way from Gibeon to Gezer. 17 So David’s fame spread throughout every land, and the LORD made all the nations fear him.
