SUBJECT: THE PROMISES OF GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS
TOPIC: THE BENEFITS OF PARENTAL BLESSINGS
READING SCRIPTURES: 1 KING 8: 22-30
The Benefits of walking in Generational Blessings:
1. You will be empowered to dedicate yourself and your family before God, build an Altar unto God where you meet with him daily to inherit everything in the benefits package of your salvation. See verse 22
2. You will be empowered to have a prayer and praise life style pattern to honor God in appreciation of what he has done to your parents which you inherited to be self sufficiency in all things. See verses 23-24
3. You will walk in the promises made by God to your Father for serving and honoring him in truth and spirit, which moved God to make a covenant of generational blessing for Kingship and leadership role to your family till eternity in your nation and the world at large. See verse 25
4. You have to walk faithfully with God in order to move God to pronounce generational blessing upon you, which will in turn be inherited by your coming seven generations. Also abolish all existing curses that you may have inherited from your own parents, pronounced by satanic agents, or self inflicted curses. Make demands, request, seek and knock at God’s doors for all your needs. See verse 26.
5. Prove to God that you love him by doing something visible to uplift his kingdom example; building his house, shepherding his sheep, services to the house of God and services to humanity. Whatever you can do to honor God physically, spiritually and financially please do it with pure and clean heart without grudges. See verse 27.
6. Make your requests to God Almighty through his son Jesus Christ to give attention to your prayers and have mercy on you where ever you have erred in your relationship with him. Plead with God to hear the prayers you and your family are bringing before him today for peace and generational blessings upon your household. See verse 28.
7. Pray and intercede for Living Water Foundation Church & Ministries that feeds you with the food of life, for God’s eyes to be open to the prayers that are made in this ministry day and night, and ask for God’s presence to be in this temple always with all the members. See verse 29.
8. Pray also for the visionaries and the Minister of the Church, because anointing flows from the head to down, ask God to bless the Minister and his family so that he will in turn pronounce blessings upon the congregations, which will in turn pull down God’s hands for peace and generational blessings to the entire Church of God. See verse 30. My prayer for you today is for your name to be added in the book of life, and for you and your family to be counted among those worthy to receive that peace that comes from God and the generational blessings.

 Solomon’s Prayer of Dedication
22 Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the whole assembly of Israel, spread out his hands toward heaven 23 and said:
“Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. 24 You have kept your promise to your servant David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it—as it is today.
25 “Now Lord, the God of Israel, keep for your servant David my father the promises you made to him when you said, ‘You shall never fail to have a successor to sit before me on the throne of Israel, if only your descendants are careful in all they do to walk before me faithfully as you have done.’26 And now, God of Israel, let your word that you promised your servant David my father come true.
27 “But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heaven, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built! 28 Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day. 29 May your eyes be open toward this temple night and day, this place of which you said, ‘My Name shall be there,’ so that you will hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place? 30 Hear the supplication of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive.
